We give new stuffed animals to children who need comfort, letting them know others care. Our mission is to inspire hope and give love to children who are facing significant life challenges. Many of these children have been abused or neglected, and moved from one temporary living situation to another with no sense of security. Some are traumatized by tragic loss or are confronting serious illness; and others live in extreme poverty. We believe the gift of something to cuddle provides security and demonstrates compassion that is healing to a hurting heart.

In order to sustain our ability to give and not rely solely on donations, we sell “Little Hugs” stuffed animals with all profits going toward giving. When you buy a “Little Hug” for someone you know, you are also giving “Little Hugs” to other children who are truly in need. “Little Hugs” purchased as gifts are beautifully presented in a quality gift box wrapped with a bow. You can also purchase a box of Little Hugs to be directly given to the organization of your choice. This gift can be donated in honor or memory of someone special. In addition to stuffed animals, we sell shirts embellished with inspirational phrases. These profits go to other select causes that improve the lives of children. Our hope is to continue to expand our offerings of quality, inspirational gift items and in so doing, increase our impact. Little Hugs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Wheelchair Bodybuilding, Inc. (WCBB) was founded in May 2006 as a non-profit tax-exempted 501(c)(3) organization by Nick Scott dedicated to raising funds to expand and improve opportunities for wheelchair athletes and adaptive athletes.

WCBB focuses on promoting, growing, and expanding the sport of wheelchair bodybuilding and adaptive bodybuilding through its association with the NPC (National Physique Committee) and IFBB Professional League (International Federation of Body Builders).

With Nick’s vision and the support of many people in the professional bodybuilding community, the first IFBB Professional League Pro Wheelchair Championships took place at the 2011 IFBB Houston Pro Show on October 13, 2011. There are now thousands of wheelchair bodybuilders who are working hard to meet their own goals and set an example for others of what can be achieved with persistence and a positive mindset.

THE HEALING SOUNDS OF MUSIC, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization was founded in 2018. Martin Coyne, a retired businessman and Ilona Musil, his Administrative Assistant were seeking a project to fill their spare time, which would provide a needed service to the community. Mr. Coyne had read many articles describing the benefits of music to all ages, but particularly for the elderly, who may suffer from loneliness, depression, various stages of dementia, chronic illnesses and end-of-life situations. He had substantial experience with music having served as a past Chairman of the Board of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra and as co-founder and First President of Symphonia Boca, a large Chamber Orchestra founded in 2005 and still flourishing. Martin and Ilona became aware that despite there being many professional music therapists, the demand far exceeded the supply.

They thought it would be a potentially good idea to offer healing music programs to residents of Assisted Living Facilities in the Boca Raton area. They first approached Jeff Kaye Music to arrange for the hiring of local musicians and the selection of music to be played. Jeff was Principal Trumpet for the Florida Philharmonic and presently is PrincipalTrumpet and Artistic Director of Symphonia Boca. He enthusiastically supported our proposal and was brought on as Artistic Director of HEALING SOUNDS. One of the side benefits of our program is supplementing the meager income of our local musicians, primarily members of the Symphonia Boca. There is no cost to the residents for this service. Our primary expense is the musicians; all other administrative expenses (excluding legal and accounting services) are borne by the Directors. Coyne and Musil approached a local facility and were warmly welcomed to initiate our endeavor. Thus, HEALING SOUNDS was born and flourished with monthly concerts for the residents and one-on-one sessions with those too infirm to attend.

The Dori Slosberg Foundation

The Dori Slosberg Foundation is a non-governmental, not for profit, public service organization dedicated to traffic safety. The foundation is named in memory of Dori Slosberg–the daughter of Florida State Rep. Irving “Irv” Slosberg–whose life tragically ended when the car in which she was riding crashed while she was unbuckled. Four other teens died in the crash. Established in 2004, our foundation received non-profit status in 2005 and is an influential force in reversing the deadly statistics our roadways produce.
