Here @ Giving A Dog A Bone LLC, pets are our passion. We offer pet care services in Palm Beach County FL. We also offer dog training if your dog(s) need to learn basic obedience or if they have developed a few behavior problems over the years that you need help correcting. I volunteer @ Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in West Palm Beach FL. There I work with dogs of all sizes. I help run the weekly obedience class, as well as work with dogs that are either under socialized, have behavior issues or have been abused or neglected.

I am a balanced dog trainer. I use both rewards & corrections to train dogs, I NEVER PUNISH DOGS FOR MISBEHAVING, OR INFLICT PAIN IN ORDER TO GET THE BEHAVIOR THAT I WANT. There is a huge difference between correcting a dog and punishing a dog. A correction is a reminder, much like saying to a kid, “Hey, don’t do that,” or “Listen to me, you’re not paying attention.”

A wife and mother of five, Shelby Lee Tessar is the owner of Halohs Errand Services and Halohs Home Services, a personal errand, home, and concierge service company. Shelby made a career in Health Management and Human Resources, working as a Director of Human Resources for many years.

Over the years, she realized her organizational skills, leadership and passion to help others could benefit and help many others by starting her own service company. Shelby truly understands firsthand how balancing a busy life, household, job, being a good friend, good mom, attending events, having personal time, and truly having the time to enjoy life requires help.
