Cary "Boss" Bartlett

Owner / Operator / Senior Designer

Cary is our general and the largest personality in the office. Cary is an innovative commercial artist and web developer with 16 years in the Internet industry. Cary attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, obtaining an Associates of Science degree in commercial art advertising. Cary has participated in design projects for Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, Budweiser, Ford Motors, Sprint and The Miller Brewing Company.

An infectious persona and unrivaled, creative genius, Cary makes it a point to touch every project that comes in through our doors. Cary has a rare talent of being able to perfectly balance a creative temperament with a result-driven business psyche.

The perpetual prankster, Cary's creative imagination has not only made him one of the most talented designers in the industry but concurrently a convivial and imaginative quipster. Cary is the patriarch of our office and takes his responsibility to his employees and himself very seriously. Indeed, Cary's only shortcoming arguably would be his selflessness.

Cary has two great loves in his life – his family and 561Media, and neither would suffer the neglect of his attention, focus or faithfulness. A born leader with a drive to succeed Cary has a knack for delivering designs that far exceed our client's visions.

Joe "Mazel Tov" Raio

Owner / Operator / Senior Software Developer

If this was channel 7 news – Joe would be Ron Burgundy. The commander of the forces of 561Media, Joe is an extremely talented programmer, designer and manager. Joe is an experienced computer engineer with an extensive background in networking, web development, internet marketing and business development.

A native of South Florida, Joe has been a successful musician for over 15 years sharing the stage with such bands as Sevendust, Filter & Nonpoint. He enjoys, with his band, the rewards of distributing their music through the Warner Brothers, iTunes, and writing music for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

With a penchant for overachievement and boundless ambition, Joe keeps 561Media productive. Joe's is paradoxical personality – a perfect amalgamation of programming logic and business charisma. In fact our employee handbook expounds this with a simple declarative "when in doubt – ask Joe!"

A chronic winner, the only time Joe suffers humiliation is when the office arbitrarily deface his office in a sporadic, yet frequent office prank that is now enjoyable to all through youtube! Joe, perhaps unbeknownst to himself, gives everyone at 561Media a measure of relief whenever he is involved in any given project.

Susan "Suzie Q" Bartlett

Owner / Operator / Office Manager

Susan is our office manager and the perennial matriarch of our office. Sue is an organizational wizard who seems to have a memory that cannot be tested. Susan, a mother of two (three if you count Cary), has a patience and understanding that only a mother can accomplish. Susan's equanimity and stoic nature is even more admirable considering she is married to Cary!

Susan is a rare gem that maintains almost every operational aspect of the office, including all logistics, billings and accounting without neglecting her responsibilities to her family. Most importantly, Susan's punctuality and efficacy in signing our bi-weekly paychecks make her an invaluable asset to 561Media.

Ryan "Maglite" Borcherds

Project Manager / Senior Marketing Specialist

Ryan is our project manager and marketing assassin. Ryan is a ambitious, result-driven individual that inspires his development team with his natural leadership and effective management strategies. As a former business owner, Ryan understands the value clients place on punctuality and strives to always meet deadlines. A charismatic and talismanic persona clients inevitably enjoy the relationships and experience with Ryan.

Ryan is a seasoned marketing professional with nearly a decades' experience executing strategy and increasing ROI through proper development prior to execution, with a particular talent for identifying and reversing negative spending in marketing initiatives.

Ryan is also the storyteller within our small community and many a lunch is spent enjoying Ryan regale his latest personal adventure. Ryan also serves as our collection department – at 6'3 280 lbs Ryan, thus far has a perfect delinquent collection record. Ryan is the "Needle in a haystack" that every company searches for and we were fortunate enough to find him before you did.

Rick "Rikkter" Applegarth

Web Developer / Graphic Designer / MW3 Destroyer

Rick is our development maestro, with years of development experience. Rick has an innate ability to bring our client's websites to life and exceed their online expectation. An avid paintball player, Rick brings his passion for life and diligent work rate to every client he works with.

Rick has an unmatched work ethic – so much so, that there is much debate on whether Rick has lost his bladder in a paintball skirmish. Quiet and unassuming, Rick is a humble and appreciated talent and is a truly remarkable asset to 561Media.

If the online marketing industry were a battlefield – "rikkter" would be everyone's preference for the soldier beside them.

Kris "Burban" Mortensen

General Sales Manager / Marketing Specialist

Kris, our sales manager is the strong silent type. His department's record sales performance is as much attributable to his silky voice as it is his pertinacity. Kris believes that the client's satisfaction is paramount and is consequently transparent, honest and fair in his sales techniques. Kris is also unwaveringly consistent and dedicated to post-sale customer support. Unusual characteristics of your typical salesperson, Kris places priority on relationships and longevity thereof.

He is a tremendously gifted salesperson, which has inspired us to publicly offer this sincere warning. DO NOT be persuaded to purchase Kris's 1995 Chevy suburban! It is not a pimp mobile, it does not run on vegetable juice and it CERTAINLY was never used in the 1980's sitcom The A-Team.

Mike "V-Necks & Supersets" Furtado

Web Designer / Graphic Artist

Mike is a rare gem – a manifestation of skill artistry and efficiency. Mike works at a pace that belies the measure of creativity that he puts into each project. Mike is a perfectionist by nature. He and Rick have formed a dynamic duo with Mike describing his animation ambitions for the designs and Rick making them a reality.

Mike's dedication is applicable to almost every facet of his life and he applies this same diligence to his health and fitness. Mike, the proverbial Bostonian, is a rabid Patriot, Red Sox and Celtic fan. His penchant for sports debate is so evolved that on several occasions he has been caught arguing with inanimate objects about the luster of Tom Brady's hair. Mike is also a fanatical Elton John and against our warning expounds his admiration for "EJ" as often as he can.

Brittany "Tinkerbell" Demetrius

Sales Associate

Brittany is everything a salesperson should be – funny, friendly and outgoing. However, Brittany also possesses the vulnerability and empathy that are essential to a successful salesperson. Brittany always ensures she understands her clients' needs and practices a patience that sets her apart from other sales representatives. Brittany, an accomplished soccer player and captain of the FAU intra-mural soccer team was a talent we found at lunch one afternoon.

Her gregarious attitude and magnetism was undeniable. Another advantage to employing someone proportionate to Tinkerbell is the savings in office furniture. Brit is still thrilled working out of her dreamy, 3 story Barbie Mansion.

Daniel "Digorno" Kariamis

Developer / SEO Guru

Dan came to us with an impressive resume saturated with management and sales experience. Having spent years in the food industry, Dan has adapted easily to the high paced environment of online marketing and has made himself an invaluable proficiency tool. Dan has a wonderful, result-driven attitude which is evidenced by his commitment to deadlines and problem solving skills.

Dan, not unlike Joe, is a music lover and not opposed to belting out the occasional alternative rock chorus. Dan is an equal opportunist music listener with no discernible genre being his favorite. A word of warning - Inquiry into his favorite band or genre cripples the typically decisive Dan into an hour long defense of every proposed favorite. If you don't have a decade to conclusively explore his answer – DON'T ASK!

Carly "Dimples" Doerrer

Sales Associate

When you first meet Carly there are two characteristics that are impossible to ignore – her deep set dimples and her congeniality. Carly is a born salesperson that oozes confidence and graciousness. Her altruistic sales technique and client service make her an asset and welcome client manager. Carly is an admitted fashionista and is focused on cultivating our fashion and apparel portfolio. She is also the requisite second member of our "giggling duo" along with Brittany. The Carly/Brittany daily laughing symphony is as inevitable as the sun setting and can perforate the eardrum of a mongoose a mile away.

Smit "Hey Bro!" Shah

Senior Programmer

Smit is our resident programming demon and our senior programming project manager. Smit, since joining the team, has already made a measurable difference in almost every facet of our development protocols and project planning. Smit seems to suffer from the same malady as all programmers with his unique sense of humor and quirky mannerisms. Smit has an incalculable ability to foresee the entire scope of a project and plan for contingencies.
