We are currently looking for an Search Engine Optimization and Web Specialist who can provide assistance in performing vast website audits for an array of clients within our portfolio as well as assisting us converting custom designs into HTML/CSS. The SEO and Web Specialist is responsible for day-to-day management of ongoing search engine optimization programs including link building, content development and social media integration. This individual will be responsible for the SEO strategy and implementation and delivery of long term traffic growth via major search engines.

The ideal candidate must be a proficient in SEO, Java Script, MySQL, XHTML, and PHP. Additionally, this individual will need to have exceptional knowledge of SEO best practice gained from working on and managing SEO campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating multiple website search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns
• Managing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns through Google, Bing, etc.
• Generating content for press releases
• Writing web content including web pages, articles, blogs, etc.
• Managing free and paid directories
• Managing direct marketing campaigns through email newsletters
• Finding new avenues for digital marketing
• Designing graphical marketing pieces
• Content population
• Converting photoshop PSDs to HTML/CSS
• Monitor, analyze and report on SEO performance
• Campaign optimization – analyzing and modifying campaigns for greater ROI
• Research and stay-up-to date on new developments, trends and technologies within the SEO space

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year full-time paid search management experience preferred
• Expert in SEO/SEM/PPC
• In-depth knowledge of how to improve organic search results.
• Expert level understanding of search ranking factors, content optimization, and link building
• Familiarity with the concepts of paid search advertising
• Must have experience in working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Social Media networks for businesses - Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn
• Hands on experience working with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, KeywordSpy, Majestic, SEOmoz, Ahrefs, etc.
• Skills in graphical editing programs (Photoshop, Illustrator) not required, but a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced Excel skills are preferred)
• Ability to work and think independently, very good with details, ability to take ownership of projects and make sure they are fully implemented
• Search engine ad copywriting
• Ability to work with limited resources, on multiple campaigns and close deadlines
• Quick learner - self-motivated and able to multitask
